We are so excited that you are joining us in Northern California for our wedding.
Redwood Valley and vicinity:
Places to eat-- Redwood Valley Mario's does an excellent job of homey Italian food in an overwhelmingly themed interior. We like the pizza and the mushroom appetizer. The Broiler makes steak and salad like you're back in the '50s- lots of dressing on the salad and a piece of meat bigger than your head. Also, a good place to see real local Redwood Valley types. Ukiah Oco Time has delicious Japanese food; Nisrene likes their vegan sushi rolls. Saucy has pizza, local beer, and local hard cider.
Coffee-- Ukiah Black Oak Roasters has excellent coffee and the ambiance of a hipster coffee shop in a much larger town. We like their Lover's Lane Latte and people watching. Schat's has good coffee, it's downtown by the shops that sell stuff, and their sweets and bread are good too.
Things to do-- Skunk Train Local museums The coast Mendocino, the town Boonville Wine tasting- Anderson Valley or local Montgomery Woods is perhaps Nisrene's favorite place in the whole world
California Highlights: Here for a while? Want to see more? We recommend: Yosemite for the nature San Francisco for museums, food, and iconic tourist snaps on the bridge Santa Cruz via Highway One for great coastal views
